The 2021 GMC Sierra is a heavy-duty pickup truck that comes in five trim levels, which are Base, SLE, SLT, AT4, and Denali. From the outside, the base trim level showcases 18-inch steel wheels, black exterior accents, vertical side trailering mirrors, cargo-area lighting, 12 cargo-bed tie-downs, chrome bumpers, LED headlights, LED taillights, LED daytime running lights, and a locking tailgate. It pairs with a six-speed automatic transmission that sends power to the rear wheels, although all-wheel drive is available as an option. You can also upgrade your truck to include a 6.6-liter Duramax diesel-powered V-8 engine, which makes 910 pound-feet of torque and 445 horsepower. It pairs with an Allison 10-speed automatic transmission. The axle is further customizable, with both single- and dual-rear-wheel axles available on this truck.

Towing and hauling are no problem when it comes to the 2021 GMC Sierra 3500. With the upgraded diesel powertrain and the proper towing equipment, this capable vehicle can tow up to 35,500 pounds and carry up to 7,442 pounds of payload. In order to achieve those numbers, you'll also need the dual-rear-wheel axle and rear-wheel drive. GMC also features an independent front suspension on this particular truck, which delivers impressive maneuvering and responsive, agile steering.

Every 2021 Sierra 3500 includes anti-lock brakes, tire pressure monitoring, stability and traction control, six airbags throughout the cabin, and a rearview camera. Options include a safety alert seat, rear cross-traffic alert, lane change alert with side blind-zone alert, lane departure warning, an HD surround-vision camera system, front and rear parking sensors, and forward collision alert with automatic braking.
