Trim Levels
The names of the 2021 Tacoma trim levels are SR, SR5, TRD Sport, TRD Off-Road, Limited, and TRD Pro. There are also two special editions for 2021: Nightshade, with all black body accents, and a Trail edition with unique bronze-finish accents and grille, along with various off-road features.
The 2021 Tacoma SR rides on 16-inch steel wheels, and upgrading to the SR5 trim adds alloy wheels and exterior chrome trim. The TRD Sport adds 17-inch wheels, a sport-tuned suspension, and body-colored fender flares and rear bumper. For 2021, TRD Sport models now offer a premium audio system as well. The TRD Off-Road rides on 16-inch wheels and has a chrome rear bumper.
The Tacoma Limited comes with most of the TRD Sport's features, except for the sport suspension and hood scoop. The TRD Pro has substantial off-road capabilities, along with 16-inch black-painted TRD wheels with all-terrain tires, LED headlights, and a sunroof.

Interior
The 2021 Toyota Tacoma is available with either a 6-foot-1-inch or 5-foot bed and Access Cab or Double Cab body type. Access Cab Tacomas seat four, while Double Cab models seat five and have four doors. The interior of even the base model feels pleasantly modern and well-appointed.
The standard infotainment system in the Tacoma is simple to use and includes a 7-inch touch screen with separate physical controls. Tactile buttons make it simple to modify the climate and music settings. Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and Amazon Alexa are all available as smartphone integration options. Six speakers, Bluetooth, three USB ports, satellite radio, and voice recognition are among the other starting amenities. New for 2021, V-6 versions come equipped with dual-zone automatic climate control.
