2022 Ram 1500

The 2022 Ram 1500 comes in six trim levels: Limited, Limited Longhorn, Rebel, Laramie, Big Horn, and Tradesman. The standard Tradesman model of the 1500 comes in eight paint colors: Diamond Black Crystal, Granite Crystal Metallic, Billet Silver Metallic, Patriot Blue, Delmonico Red, Flame Red, Bright White, and Ivory White.

Some of the standard exterior features on the 2022 Ram 1500 include automatic on and off headlamps, daytime running lights, a black grille, and power remote driver and passenger heated mirrors. Some features available on higher trims of the 1500 include LED headlights, front fog lights, and chrome accents.

The 2022 Ram 1500 also features a standard 3.6-liter V-6 engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. This impressive engine generates 305 horsepower. Also available is a 5.7-liter V-8 engine with a horsepower of 395. The standard Ram 1500 Tradesman with rear-wheel drive has a towing capacity of up to 7,690 pounds, with higher trims capable of towing up to 12,750 pounds total.

The 2022 Ram 1500 has rear-wheel drive standard, with four-wheel-drive options available on all trim levels. The base model Tradesman with rear-wheel drive has a standard EPA estimated miles per gallon of 20 in the city and 25 on the highway, with the four-wheel-drive model having an mpg of 19 in the city and 24 on the highway.

Interior for the standard 2022 Ram 1500 includes the choice of Black or Black/Diesel Gray interior colors, with other models having options like Red, Indigo/Sea Salt, and Black/New Saddle surfaces. Standard tech and interior features on the new 1500 include voice-activated control, six speakers, wireless phone connectivity, a first row LCD monitor, and the Ram Clean Air System, which filters out 95% of air particulates.

Other interior features available on the 2022 Ram 1500 include a driver's seat with power four-way lumbar support, remote keyless entry, rain detecting wipers, cruise control with steering wheel controls, heated seats, rubber floor mats, and an integrated navigation system with voice activation capabilities.

All models of the 2022 Ram 1500 come standard with safety features, including six standard airbags, brake assist, traction control, and stability control with anti-roll. Other safety features available on the new 1500 include 360 Trailer Surround View, blind-spot monitoring, lane departing warning with lane keep assist, pedestrian emergency rear cross path, and trailer detection.
