2023 Cadillac XT5

You can choose from a range of stylish exterior colors with the XT5, including Rosewood Metallic, Opulent Blue Metallic, and Radiant Red Tintcoat. The SUV is available in three trim levels: the Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Sport.

Standard features on the base trim include 18-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, heated side mirrors, a power liftgate, and a rear spoiler. The Premium Luxury trim adds features such as power-folding and auto-dimming side mirrors with turn signal indicators, a panoramic sunroof, and a hands-free liftgate. The trim is also equipped with rain-sensing wipers, illuminating door handles, LED daytime running lights, and locking wheel lugs. The top-ranging Sport trim comes with 20-inch alloy wheels and gloss-black roof rails.

You can choose from two engines with the Cadillac. The standard turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine generates an output of 235 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. A more spirited output of 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque is provided by the available 3.6-liter V-6 engine. Both engines pair with a nine-speed automatic transmission. With the Luxury and Premium Luxury trims, front-wheel drive is standard, and all-wheel drive is optional. The Sport trim comes standard with all-wheel drive.

The XT5 is equipped with a drive mode selector, which allows you to customize your ride according to the driving conditions. Front-wheel-drive models feature Snow/Ice, Touring, and Sport modes, while all-wheel-drive models come with Touring, Off-Road, and Sport modes. For a more performance-focused ride, opt for the Sport trim, which is equipped with a sport suspension with adaptive dampers, upgraded Brembo brakes, and a heavy-duty cooling system. If you invest in the optional tow package, your XT5 will have a towing capacity of up to 3,500 pounds.

The XT5's cabin offers generous legroom and headroom for both front and rear passengers. The rear cargo area provides 30 cubic feet of space, and folding the rear seats down extends the cargo space to 63 cubic feet. With the 8-inch standard infotainment system, you receive Bluetooth, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, satellite radio, a Wi-Fi hotspot, plus an eight-speaker Bose audio system. Available infotainment features include a 14-speaker Bose audio system, a wireless smartphone charger, and navigation.

The base trim is fitted with a wide range of standard features including dual-zone automatic climate control, simulated leather upholstery, and heated front seats. An auto-dimming rearview mirror, keyless open, and a rear cargo management system also come standard. The higher trims unlock access to various luxury features such as leather upholstery, ambient lighting, memory settings, and a retractable cargo shade.

A comprehensive suite of driver-assist systems is provided as standard gear with the XT5. Apart from forward-collision warning with automatic braking, standard systems include lane-departure mitigation, front and rear parking sensors, a following distance indicator, and an HD rear-vision camera.
