2023 Honda Odyssey

Honda shook things up a bit with the Odyssey's lineup for the 2023 model year. The automaker discontinued the LX trim and debuted the midrange Sport variant. This new model features 19-inch alloy wheels that add style and presence from the ground up, and you'll love the trim-specific exterior elements.

The 2023 Honda Odyssey comes in four more trims, including EX, EX-L, Touring, and Elite. Each one is perfect for taking the family on adventures with a glossy black grille, sleek LED headlights, a modern, sculpted profile, and a darkened wraparound rear window.

All 2023 Odyssey models have a 3.5-liter V-6 engine under the hood. Thanks to the help of a 10-speed automatic transmission, it produces 280 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque. This setup provides plenty of power for cruising around town and passing or merging on the highway.

The new Odyssey is pretty agile for its size. This family hauler handles well and offers light, direct steering, and plenty of stopping power from the brakes. Even sleeping babies in the back rows will enjoy its smooth ride and minimal body roll around corners. It can even tow a trailer up to 3,500 pounds when properly equipped.

No matter what your minivan needs are, the 2023 Odyssey delivers. It seats up to eight people, and all three rows provide plenty of room for adults. Honda's infotainment system is a breeze to operate, with simple menu layouts, crisp graphics, and quick response times. The standard setup features an 8-inch touch-screen, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, two USB ports, and Bluetooth connectivity. In addition, the family's music lovers will enjoy satellite and HD radio and a seven-speaker audio system.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration awarded the 2023 Odyssey with a perfect five-star overall safety rating thanks to a long list of standard driver-assistance features. Honda included road-departure mitigation, traffic sign recognition, and forward automatic emergency braking. There's also a rearview camera, lane departure warning, stop-and-go adaptive cruise control, and a rear-seat alert.
