The 2023 Grand Cherokee has a Pentastar 3.6-liter V-6 engine that creates 293 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. You can also choose a 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 that offers 357 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque. There's a 2-liter 4xe plug-in hybrid powertrain as well. It has four cylinders, and it gives 375 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque. All of these options come with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

This SUV has maneuverable power steering, great acceleration, and an independent suspension that create a comfortable, smooth ride. It also comes with paddle shifters for the steering wheel, an engine oil cooler, and a sport driving mode. It can tow up to 7,200 pounds, and the V-6 engine gets 19 mpg in traffic and 26 mpg on the open road. The plug-in hybrid can go 56 mpge, and it has electric-only, hybrid, electric, and gas driving modes.

You can add a Quadra-Lift air suspension that can lower the Grand Cherokee at highway speeds to improve aerodynamics and raise it off-road for more ground clearance. Fully raised, the Grand Cherokee has a 24-inch ground clearance.
