Trim Levels
With the 2023 Ram 1500 lineup, you get several trim levels to choose from. The base-level Tradesman provides a keyless entry system as well as an LED trailer hitch lamp, which is a brand-new fixture for the 1500 family. Ram equips the Tradesman HFE with a Mopar roll-up tonneau cover, side steps, and chrome-finished wheels measuring 20 inches. The Limited adds accent fender flares, a bright-tipped dual exhaust, and chrome molding.
You'll find a grille, bumpers, and door handles on the Limited Longhorn, all featuring a chrome finish. The Rebel boasts a bold performance hood, recovery hooks, and two-tone paint. The Laramie comes with state-of-the-art LED lighting and a class-exclusive cargo management system. A dual panoramic sunroof shows up on the Big Horn, while the TRX comes equipped with a wide grille, flared fenders, and flared bedsides.
Engine
Several engines are available for the 2023 Ram 1500, including a 305-horsepower, 3.6-liter V-6 with 273 pound-feet of torque. With that much power, the Ram 1500 can tow 7,730 pounds. Another option is a 395-horsepower, 5.7-liter V-8 generating 410 pound-feet of torque and allowing a 12,750-pound towing capacity.
An available 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V-6 can produce 260 horsepower and 480 pound-feet of torque, giving the Ram 1500 a 9,600-pound towing capacity. The final engine in the lineup is only available in the TRX. It's a 702-horsepower, Supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI V-8 that puts out 650 pound-feet of torque and enables the TRX to go from zero to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds.
