2023 Toyota Tundra

You can choose the 2023 Tundra in SR, SR5, Limited, Platinum, TRD Pro, and Capstone trims. Depending on the model, you have the option of a Double Cab or a roomy CrewMax cab, along with three box lengths. The standard reinforced composite box helps protect your truck and cargo. Accessing your cargo is easy with the available tailgate bump switch release that just takes a nudge of the taillight to open the gate. An available 400-watt power outlet gives you electric power where you need it.

The Tundra comes standard with LED headlights, daytime running lamps, heated power mirrors, door handle touch sensors, LED taillights, and an easy open and close tailgate. Higher trims add features like rain-sensing wipers, sequential turn signals, LED daytime running lamps, LED fog lamps, alloy wheels, power-folding mirrors, and LED box lights. The range-topping Capstone trim also features power-retractable running boards and a bed step.

Powering the SR is a responsive 358-horsepower twin-turbocharged 3.4-liter V-6 engine that makes 406 pound-feet of torque. In the SR5, Limited, and Platinum trims, the same engine is tuned to make 389 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque. The top two models feature a hybrid powertrain, with the V-6 paired with an electric motor for an output of 437 horsepower and 583 pound-feet of torque. Each engine is matched with a 10-speed automatic transmission.

Depending on the layout, the Tundra gives you a maximum towing capacity of 12,000 pounds and a payload of up to 1,940 pounds. The TRD Pro and Capstone trims come standard with a four-wheel-drive system with low-range gearing that's optional for other models. The off-road-oriented TRD Pro has a suspension lift, a locking rear differential, FOX dampers, and crawl control.

Inside, the Tundra's well-appointed cabin has a premium feel and offers intelligent storage solutions for your gear, such as the rear under-seat storage compartment. SR models offer cloth upholstery, keyless ignition, automatic temperature control, a 4.2-inch vehicle information screen, LED map lights, and a power rear windshield. The 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system features wireless smartphone compatibility, and a six- or nine-speaker audio system.

Moving up the trims gives you features such as faux or real leather seating, power-adjustable front seats, two-zone automatic temperature control, heated and cooled front and rear seats, a heated steering wheel, a power tilting and telescoping steering column, ambient lighting, a power panoramic sunroof, and a 12.3-inch digital instrument display. Platinum models and higher have a striking 14-inch infotainment touchscreen and a 12-speaker JBL sound system, while a 10-inch head-up display is standard for the Capstone.

Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 is standard across the Tundra lineup. It includes adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, lane departure mitigation, and a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection. Available safety features include a blind-spot monitor, rear cross-traffic alert, and front and rear parking assist with autonomous braking.
