2025 Toyota RAV4

There are four trims available. The base LE has 17-inch steel wheels with silver six-spoke wheel covers and color-keyed outside door handles. The XLE trim's 17-inch wheels have five-spoke light gray metallic alloy wheels and a touch-sensor lock-unlock feature on its front door handles. 19-inch metallic-finished alloy wheels make the XLE Premium stand out. The top-of-the-line Limited variant includes a height-adjustable power liftgate and integrated LED fog lights. LED daytime running lights are included with all trims, and Toyota offers two-tone options to pair various colors with a Midnight Black Metallic roof.

Every 2025 RAV4 runs on a 2.5-liter four-cylinder Dynamic Force engine that produces 203 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque. This engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission for comfortable driving in town and on the highway. Drivers can choose between front-wheel-drive versions for everyday use or Toyota's Dynamic Torque Vectoring All-Wheel Drive for tricky weather. The AWD system constantly adjusts power distribution to maintain traction on slick surfaces.

There are three drive modes: Sport for quick response, Eco for better mileage, or Normal for daily use. AWD models add Multi-Terrain Select with Mud/Sand, Rock/Dirt, and Snow settings to handle various conditions.

The multilink rear suspension balances comfort and handling. The RAV4 also includes active cornering assist to keep turns stable and hill-start assist to prevent rolling backward on slopes. Trailer sway control automatically adjusts brakes and power to help with towing up to 1,500 pounds. The 2025 RAV4 has a maximum ground clearance of 8.6 inches.

The 2025 RAV4 has a comfortable and spacious interior. The 60/40-split reclining rear seat folds flat for 69.8 cubic feet of storage space. A standard 8-inch screen and six-speaker audio system can be upgraded to a 10.5-inch touchscreen and an 11-speaker JBL premium audio system in some trims. All trims include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. Premium options include SofTex-trimmed seats, dual-zone climate control with a dust and pollen filter, and a wireless charging pad.

Every RAV4 comes with Toyota Safety Sense 2.5. This suite includes a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, lane departure alert with steering assist, and dynamic radar cruise control. There are eight airbags, a backup camera with dynamic gridlines, a road sign assist, and automatic high beams that switch between settings as needed. Higher trims add blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and a 360-degree camera.
