Breakfast food | Performance Columbus in Columbus, OH
Hungry and tired of the same-old bowl of cereal? Pile the family into your vehicle and head to one of these great breakfast places in the Columbus, OH, and Dublin, OH area. These are some of our favorite places to enjoy a good meal – they’re just so delicious!

Sunny Street Cafe

This great casual spot has delicious breakfasts with options for everyone in the family. You'll find Sunny Street, with a great little outdoor dining area, at 7042 Hospital Dr in Dublin. They fling open the doors bright and early at 6:30 AM. If you're really hungry, you have to try the Big Bite, which is two eggs, a choice of breakfast meats, a side, and toast. Or, go for the Meat Lover's breakfast, which is two eggs, all the breakfast meats, toast, and your choice of sides. They also have amazing loaded hash browns, nice breakfast sandwiches and tacos, pancakes and waffles, and a French Toast Crunch that will knock your socks off.

Bruegger's Bagels

Dublin is not New York, and none of us want it to be. But there's one amazing thing that New York has that we can appreciate no matter where we live, and that's a great crispy on the outside, dense and chewy on the inside bagel. Bruegger's is at The Shoppes at River Ridge in Dublin and opens up at 6:30 AM, except on the weekend, when they open at 7 AM. Their classic kettle-boiled bagels come in blueberry, cinnamon sugar, egg, everything, garlic, poppy seed, rosemary olive oil, whole wheat, and many more. Try their made-in-Vermont cream cheese options to top things off (we recommend the bacon scallion or the honey walnut). They also have an array of wonderful breakfast sandwiches, like the Sriracha Honey Sunrise, which is egg, peppered bacon, cheddar, and sriracha honey cream cheese on a toasted everything bagel.

Starliner Diner

If you want a delicious, traditional diner breakfast in a quirky and popular spot, the Starliner Diner is for you. You'll find them at 4121 Main St. in nearby Hilliard, and they open up at 9 AM. Don't let that later opening time fool you though: hop in your car and make the short drive over here for their award-winning breakfast choices. It's hard to nail down just a few options to recommend, as everything here is so good, but we do love the two eggs with your choice of breakfast meats and two pancakes, especially as you can choose regular, banana, blueberry, chocolate chip, coconut, or strawberry pancakes. We also love the huevos rancheros, and the fresh spinach and mushroom omelet. And don't forget their jalapeno cornbread as a side to any breakfast you choose! We love these spots, and we think you will, too! So start making your plans to visit one – or all! – of these scrumptious spots. Who knows – you just might find a new favorite!   Image via pixabay.com | Licensed under Pixabay License
