Burgers are one of the most consumed foods in the US, and with good reason! They're tasty, quick to prepare, and affordable. They're also a comfort food for many of us. In Columbus, OH, we have a range of great places where you can get the best burgers in town. These are a few of our favorite places to grab that perfect burger the next time you’ve got a craving.

The Thurman Cafe

Thurman opened its doors in 1942 and has been owned and operated by the same family since then. Their burgers have reached iconic status in the local community. They've even been featured on Travel Channel's Man vs. Food due to the size of their incredible burgers. With twenty-two hamburger options, there's a burger for every taste. We love the Hawaiian burger, a 12oz burger topped with ham and pineapple sauteed in teriyaki sauce and then smothered in provolone cheese. If you prefer a vegetarian option, the rad shroom burger will hit the spot. The burger patty is topped with mushrooms and their signature horseradish cheese. Visit Thurman's at 183 Thurman Avenue, Columbus.

Kitchen Social

Kitchen Social is all about great food with a friendly, relaxed vibe. They use only the freshest local ingredients to produce some of the greatest burgers in and around Columbus. Their food and service are famous in town, which led the owners to open two other restaurants due to popular demand. Their burger choices aren't extensive, but this is more than made up for with their amazing taste. We love the pimiento cheeseburger with Angus beef patties, house-made pimiento cheese, and candied bacon on a brioche bun. Their crispy chicken burger is equally good, with pickled onions, jalapenos, and gochujang aioli on a brioche bun. It really hits the spot! Kitchen Social can be found at 8954 Lyra Drive, Columbus.

Pat and Gracie's

This restaurant is housed in what was once a horse farm built by the namesakes of the restaurant owners. It's located in a strip mall with plenty of parking and has the feel of a friendly urban diner. Their food is on point, and they've received rave reviews since they opened. There are five burger options; all smash-cooked for extra flavor. You also have the option to build your own burger. We enjoy the smokehouse BBQ burger, topped with Swiss cheese, bacon, caramelized onions, and house BBQ sauce. Pat and Gracie's can be found at 138 Graceland Boulevard, Columbus.
